The CPX8, handsomely specified with a solid top, white-bound neck and gold-plated tuners, comes in two versions to suit players sound preferences. The spruce/rosewood model is richly bright with a strong projection; the cedar/mahogany CPX8M has a sweeter, warmer tone well suited to a more lyrical repertoire.
Whichever, amplified quality and versatility are guaranteed, the two-way system allowing the piezo and mic signals to be blended for an impressive spectrum of ambient, concert-like sounds. The internal mic is mounted on an adjustable gooseneck for optimum positioning; the phase switch and the EQs adjustable wide-band midrange (80Hz - 10kHz) extend the tonal permutations and help eliminate feedback.
